NEW CD ON ITS WAY!! CD LAUNCH SHOW on November 7th at the Gazebo Lounge Four Points Sheraton was a huge success!! The event was videotaped and will now be part of the promotional marketing campaign for the CD that kicks off in January. I'll keep you updated as to our progress ~ keep spreading the love and good vibes for us! Thanks to All of You that came out to the show and made it such a special night. A special Thanx to Boston comedian, John Turco, who opened the show with a wickedly funny performance! What a magical night it was!!
I've got a new name to make it easier for those who've stumbled in trying to pronounce my difficult name (wasn't exactly 'Smith'!). Previously Lee Villeneuve, I'm originally from Montreal but call Massachussetts home for over six years ~ I love it here!
(here's the official promo blurb... to be read aloud with an obnoxiously nasal radio-personality voice). "New CD, called "Blonde Intuition And Other Good Voodoo" includes 13 new songs that showcase Lee's sensual lyrics and emotional vocals, beautifully meshed with the prowess of her talented band." Howz dat?? My song style has grown up a bit... this CD has been described as sensual, acoustic pop with jazz/folk tinges. We like using the word "sensual" 'cos then folks really want to hear it...lol. Lucky me has been blessed to record this CD with amazingly gifted, talented friends - the band includes: Dave Gaudet (guitars & vocals), Kris Lucander (bass), Tom Ruckey (drums) and Adam Bergeron (keyboards). Also includes some stunning guest performances by Mark Fisher, Kevin Walsh and John Hanifin ~ goosebumpilly recorded by the talented John Little!
More official stuff you might wanna know from my past: I'm a singer/songwriter who's written songs for blues legend Bob Walsh, Scottish country band Evangeline, and have released four CDs of my own, including a live one last year where I first had the chance to record with Dave, Kris and Tom. I loved it so much, thought I'd do it again!

STUFF I LOVE: (like you really need to know this stuff...!) ~ includes writing songs, singing songs, recording songs, listening to songs, exercising to songs, driving to songs and making woopie to songs. Oopss.. better ignore that last one. Don't watch much TV but I love watching the Patriots play and hate to miss an episode of Family Guy! And I love to cook. I didn't say I was good at it, but I love doin' it!
PEOPLE I LOVE: (one day Oprah will quiz y'all on this stuff...!) My biggest inspiration and biggest fans are my Family ~ I'm really blessed and grateful for their support. Not to mention some amazing friends who tell me every song I've written is the Best... really!! God love 'em and I do too!! I've also got some great musical friends who inspire me and they're on MySpace too ~ discover: Dave Gaudet, Jeff Root, Heidi-Jo Hanson, GS Picard, and Mark Fisher!
